A large proportion of our clients quickly progress through their training to reach the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists)or RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) advanced test standard.  Both tests are similar in their nature (i.e., the Examiner will ride behind you for around an hour and judge your overall ride against the standard expected).  However, as the RoSPA test pass is graded (Bronze, Silver and Gold) and the IAM will usually give an insurance discount, a number of our clients go on to take both advanced tests. 

We will give you an honest opinion as to when you are ready to apply for either advanced test and will provide you with written guidance before the event, supply you with an application form and make as many other arrangements for you as possible.  Further, we are so keen for you to do well that, as long as you have undertaken at least two Full Day Training Courses with GRS, we will offer you a complimentary "mock test" and even offer to accompany you to the test on the big day, resources permitting!

We are extremely proud of our advanced test record and are about to pass our 'half century' of test passes with only an isolated failure in four years!
